The Condominium Home Owners Association of BC (CHOA) just launched a new, free, online educational website called the BC Condo Classroom. The site is designed to provide practical, accessible learning resources for strata councils, owners, managers, and industry professionals throughout British Columbia.
The BC Condo Classroom currently has the first 10 learning modules in a planned series of approximately 50 educational learning modules. Developed over the past two years through extensive consultation, planning, and collaboration, these learning modules are in response to the growing complexity of strata governance and the increasing need for reliable, practical education. Made possible through the partnership and support of BC Housing and the Province of British Columbia, the BC Condo Classroom offers users the flexibility to learn at their own pace while accessing current, practical, BC focused, information covering the most common issues affecting strata corporations.
Each learning module is supported by companion reference materials, creating a comprehensive learning experience for users. Additional modules will be released quarterly until the full library of approximately 50 topics is complete. The curriculum will continue to evolve to reflect legislative changes, emerging policy, and the changing operational needs of strata communities across British Columbia.
